TS4: Family Portrait Functional

Many years ago (around 2018 I guess), they gave one of those "exclusive objects" for Simmers. But whoever started playing TS4 after that, couldn't get this object.

It's a portrait you hang on the wall of your Sim's family.

I thought it would be cool to bring it back, since details like this always make our Sim's homes look more lively ^^

I made this portrait available, and also added other 10 different picture frames.

6 of them are EA wall frames that I turned into portraits. The other 4 types are original meshes by me.

You can both use it with maxis and alpha objects :)

I also created custom backgrounds for you to use in your pictures ^^

THERE ARE 3 ZIPS FILES TO BE DOWNLOADED:

* channel4sims - family portrait functional: the picture frames are here, including the original object. Extract it and put it on your Mods folder.

* channel4sims - family portrait backgrounds: this file contains the replacements of the portrait's background image. You can only use one at a time. To make it easier to choose, there's an image (with the same name) for you to see what picture it will be. 

Don't extract it to your Mods folder. Place it somewhere else. Choose just one package file from it (the background you wnat to use) and place on Mods.

* channel4sims - family portrait - background editable: this one is for you to edit and add your own background image.

Same for this folder. Don't extract it to Mods. Use it only when you want to edit your own background picture :)

IMPORTANT:

When you place the portrait, all Sims of the household appear on it. There's a trick if you want to to choose which Sims you want in the picture.

You also have to click on "Lock Portrait" for it not to change.

I made a tutorial video showing how to use and customize the portrait and the background image. So please watch it to not have your pictures messed up XD

TIP:

You can use different poses if you download custom gallery poses. I'll leave the link for one of them as an example :)
